  • Booking.com ranks Miami Airport third-best.
  • Analyzed world’s 50 busiest airports.
  • Focused on key business traveler factors.

"Car-for-hire availability, paired with MIA's impressive infrastructure investment program, makes it a standout hub for business travelers seeking easy connections and state-of-the-art facilities," was the study's most notable finding.

Just two months have passed since J.D. Power declared MIA the most customer-satisfied mega airport in North America, according to Booking.com for Business.

“I am thrilled that MIA’s ongoing improvements are making a strong impression not only with our passengers, but also with industry experts like Booking.com,”

said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.

“In addition to having the busiest airport in Florida and the second busiest in the nation for international passengers, our community can also take pride in having one of the best airports in the country for business travelers.”

With 563 automobiles available for hire, MIA rated best among all U.S. airports in the study's six categories, offering "flexible options for reaching city center for meetings or onward destinations."

“Access to on-site car hire provides business travelers with more flexibility than taxis or transfers, especially when visiting multiple clients or offices during a single trip,”

Booking.com for Business said in the analysis.

“MIA also offers excellent ground transport links, being just 22 minutes from Brickell City Centre and Miami’s financial hub.”

The report also commended MIA for operating 196 nonstop routes, 38% of which are business-class routes, "offering business travel passengers more flexibility and options to rebook flights if they need to, due to any travel disruption or last-minute schedule changes."

“What’s more, a $9 billion modernization program titled ‘Future Ready’ is already improving terminal efficiency, TSA processing, and boarding times,”

Booking.com for Business said.

“With airport-wide upgrades like this underway, MIA is set to improve passenger experience across both leisure and business travel even further.”

What improvements are included in MIA's Future Ready program?

Miami International Airport's (MIA) $9 billion unborn Ready Modernization in Action( M.I.A.) Plan encompasses comprehensive upgrades to transfigure passenger experience and structure over the coming decade, targeting capacity for 77 million travellers by 2040.

The accolade follows J.D. Power naming MIA North America's most- bettered mega field for client satisfaction; Miami- Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava praised it as buttressing the mecca's status as Florida's busiest and the nation's alternate for transnational passengers.

The program features 41 wheelchair lifts on spurt islands (phased rollout), over 196 public bathrooms, a new four- star hostel with conference installations, digital signage (e.g., at D- 60 gates), and parking guidance systems, alongside sustainability measures like energy-effective systems and storm- hardening.
