Pakistan embassy Abu Dhabi closed for Christmas & Quaid‑i‑Azam Day
UAE (Washington Insider) – Pakistan Embassy Abu Dhabi
will close on December 25, 2025, for Christmas and Quaid-i-Azam Day, marking
Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth, and will host a Christmas event led by Ambassador
Shafqat Ali Khan.
As Supreeta Balasubramanian reported on Khaleej Times, the
Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi will remain closed on Thursday, December 25,
2025, according to an announcement issued by the mission on Monday, December
22, 2025.
The closure will be observed due to Christmas Day and
Quaid-i-Azam Day. Officials mentioned that December 25 is a public holiday in
Pakistan and marks the birth anniversary of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of
Pakistan and its first Governor-General.
What did the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi do for Christmas
and Quaid‑i‑Azam Day?On the same day, the embassy hosted a Christmas
celebration for the Pakistani Christian community residing in Abu Dhabi. Many
families from the community attended
the event, which was held in a welcoming and festive setting. Senior embassy
officials were present and met with members of the community during the
gathering.
