Qatar to host Finalissima 2026 on March 27, featuring Argentina

Qatar (Washington Insider) - Qatar will host the men’s Finalissima 2026 at Lusail Stadium on March 27, 2026, featuring Argentina, announced by LOC; UEFA’s Aleksander Ceferin and CONMEBOL’s Alejandro Dominguez praised the event.

As Qatar Tribune reported, Qatar will host the men’s Finalissima 2026 at the Lusail Stadium on March 27, 2026, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for Football Events confirmed. The match will feature Argentina, returning to the stadium where they won the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Final against France. Lusail Stadium, known for its iconic design and world-class facilities, will once again host a major football event.

Minister of Sports and Youth and Chairman of the LOG HESheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani said:

"Qatar is proud to host this prestigious match between two champions. We have a track record of delivering world-class sports events, providing an exceptional experience for fans, supporters and media. Hosting Finalissima 2026 further demonstrates the trust our partners continue to show in Qatar.”
